ACUPUNCTURE IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE

At the Telford Traditional Chinese Medical Centre we are practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM is one of the world's most ancient medical systems. It is a distinct and independent system which originated in China and has become increasingly popular in the UK over the past few decades.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a holistic therapy, and a comprehensive medical system with its own principles, diagnostic methods and therapies. Acupuncture and herbal medicine are the main therapies of TCM, supplemented by acupressure, moxibustion and dietary advise. Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on the holistic concept of integrating treatment of mental, emotional, social and physical elements to maintain health and well-being, aiming treatment of the whole body rather than just symptoms. It views optimum health as a perfect balance of “Yin” and “Yang” energy.
